Black Friday 2017: When will the stores open?

(CNN/WVLT) -- Stores are starting to reveal their game plans for what they say is one of the most critical days of the holiday shopping season.

Here's a look at hours slated for major retailers for Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

West Town Mall
West Town Mall will hold the following holiday shopping hours:
Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving): 6 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Friday, November 24 (Black Friday): 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, November 25: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday, November 26: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

JCPenney plans to open at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and stay open until 10 p.m. the following day. Online sales will kick off on November 19.

Stores will open at 6 a.m. Thanksgiving and stay open until 10 p.m. Black Friday. Some of the retailer's stores will close at midnight or 2 a.m. Friday and reopen at 6 a.m.

Macy's will open the majority of their department stores at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

PetSmart will be closed on Thanksgiving, but will start their Black Friday deals up at 7 a.m. and stay open until 9 p.m.

Sears said most of its stores will be open from 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving and reopen at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.

Target's Black Friday event begins at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. New to this year, stores will close that night at midnight and reopen Friday at 6 a.m.

Tanger Outlets in Sevierville
Stores will be open at the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville beginning the evening of Thanksgiving Day at 6 p.m., and they will remain open through 10 p.m. on Black Friday. Tanger Outlets' Moonlight Madness After Thanksgiving Sale will offer shoppers the opportunity to take advantage of huge sales before the Black Friday rush. Extended hours will be offered Dec. 1 - Dec. 23, open on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.
