KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Emergency crews responded to a fire in North Knoxville on Friday afternoon.
The Knoxville Fire Department reported that they were responding to a fire on the 2313 Laurinda Road at around 1:10 p.m. A 1980s Camaro sitting next to the house's garage was fully engulfed in flames. The fire spread to the vinyl siding of the residence.
Firefighers extinguished the flames using hand-lines.
The homeowner told investigators that he had been restoring the vehicle when it caught fire. No injuries were reported.
