KINGSTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Four teenagers are classified as runaways after running from Kingston Academy in Roane County Sunday, according to the sheriff's department.

Capt. Tim Hawn of the Roane County Sheriff's Department said they received a call Sunday of four juveniles who had ran from the academy.

Saturday the four teenagers, at least one of which is a female, had attempted to run, but were caught on Kingston Academy's property the same day.

All four have been added to the National Crime Information Center's database as runaways, Capt. Hawn said.

Capt. Hawn added they checked an abandoned home near the facility and woods surrounding it, but found no traces of the four runaways.

Kingston Academy provides "high quality psychiatric care to at-risk children and youth from across Tennessee and throughout the United States," according to the academy's website, and is capable of "meeting the needs of 52 children and adolescents."
