SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Four additional people were arrested Friday in connection to a massive round up at the Belle Meadows subdivision Thursday morning, including a man Sevier County deputies originally showed up to the neighborhood looking for. When he was found on Friday, investigators said he had a gun and a bullet proof vest. Three others were with him and arrested on outstanding warrants.
Initially, Sevier County deputies arrested 19 people on Thursday, at 1212 Luke Lea in the Belle Meadows subdivision. That's where they tried to serve one person with a felony warrant. That person wasn't there, but officials said they found 19 people inside the home who were all arrested, including one wanted on six felony warrants in Sevier County.
Officers attempted to get someone to answer the door of the residence. The homeowner, Shown Tamaddoni, eventually left the home, but wouldn't cooperate with officers, the sheriff's office said.
The Sevier County Sheriff's Office held the operation and received assistance from the Sevierville Police Department.
Several other people left the residence after and were arrested without incident.
Officials attempted to get the individuals who remained inside of the Luke Lea home to leave, when they did not, officials deployed tear gas and entered the home and found the others hidden inside.
According to the sheriff's office, four of the 19 people arrested had outstanding warrants for various charges. All of them were taken into custody and charged with prevention or obstruction with the service of a warrant. They were transported to the Sevier County Jail.
