Lanes re-opened after overturned tractor trailer closes I-40

ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said I-40 Westbound lanes in Roane County have re-opened after a tractor trailer overturned near exit 347.

According to TDOT, the crash was reported near exit 347 at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said traffic was being detoured at exit 347 to Highway 27, to Highway 70, to SR 299 and then back to I-40 at exit 338.

Lanes re-opened at around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday.
