CRITTENDEN, Ky. (WVLT) -- Kentucky police said a two-year-old girl is dead after being found in a car in Grant County on Saturday.
According to CBS affiliate WKYT, state police were called to can area in Crittenden at around 6 p.m. for an unresponsive child in a Mercury Grand Marquis.
When they arrived, police attempted life-saving measures but were ultimately successful. She was transported to a hospital in Grant County where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy has been schedule, and police say investigation is ongoing, but there was no word on charges as of Monday morning.
