(WVLT) -- Officers in Massachusetts shared a picture of a car they recently stopped that appears to have had a rear license plate made of cardboard and markers.
The Hopkinton, Massachusetts Police Department also posted some advice with the picture: Don't make your own license plates at home.
The police department's post said:
"Here's a little advice to those aspiring to make their own license plates...
2. But if you do, make sure not to use cardboard from a pizza box and magic markers.
Charges for this creative operator include operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle and attaching "fake home made" plates."
Officers called the driver a "creative operator." The driver faces charges of operating an uninsured and unregistered vehicle and ataching "fake home made" plates.
