Pumpkin Spice Lattes are coming back early this year at Starbucks

(WVLT) -- It's usually September before you start seeing people carrying Pumpkin Spice Latte drinks from Starbucks.

But this year, it's coming back in August. Internal documents reviewed by Business Insider reveal this earlier-than-normal date for the seasonal favorite from the coffee chain.

Along with the classic pumpkin drink, Starbucks will also bring back the "Salted Caramel Mocha" and the "Teavana Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte."

Starbucks will also be offering a variety of new drinks for the fall: an espresso-based Cordusio, the "Cold Foam Dark Coca Nitro" and the "Iced Pecan Latte with Cold Foam."

Starbucks declined to comment to Business Insider on the Pumpkin Spice Latte's launch date, with a company representative saying in an email: "Our pumpkins aren't ready to make their handcrafted PSL debut yet — we'll have more to share soon!"
