NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Ralphie May, a comedian who saw fame on the show 'Last Comic Standing,' died Friday morning of cardiac arrest, CBS affiliate WTVF reports. He was 45 years old.
Both TMZ and The Hollywood Reporter said May was battling pneumonia this week, but they said he was continuing to perform scheduled shows in Las Vegas.
WTVF reports May was found at a private residence in Las Vegas.
After stepping into the spotlight on 'Last Comic Standing,' May continued his career by touring and recording a stand-up CD.
