Study reveals cars most likely to last 200,000 miles

(CBS) -- In the market for a new car? A new study revealed what cars are most likely to last for 200,000 miles.

iSeeCars.com, a used-car listing website, recently conducted a study to discover what vehicles last longer than others. The site used data from 13.5 million use cars sold in 2017 to get the results. Large SUVs from Toyota, Ford and General Motors top the list, but others such as Honda and Chevrolet are featured as well.

Number one on the list is the Toyota Sequoia large SUV. According to the research, 6.6 of those sold had 200,000 miles ore more on the odometer, which is 5.5 times the 1.2 percent average for all vehicles that made it 200,000 miles in the study.

Coming in at number two is the Ford Expedition. Number three is the Chevrolet Suburban. The study revealed that both were more than four times as likely to hit the 200,000 mark than the average vehicle. The Toyota Tacoma pickup, the Toyota Avalon sedan and the Honda Odyssey minivan made the top ten list as well.
