BRIDGEPORT (WJRT) -- Ten-year-old Jayda Brown always felt like something was missing in her life after learning she had a stillborn twin brother. Now, Jayda is sharing her story in hopes of helping other children who have lost someone they love.
Recently, the fifth grader held her very first book signing at a local public library.
She and her mother co-wrote the book called, "Always in My Heart" to help other families begin the healing process.
It talks about the connection she still feels to the brother she never met and how she learned to express her feelings.
"I wanted to help others dealing with what I am to let them know they are not the only one," said Brown.
Jayda's book is $10 and is available on Amazon.
