Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Tennessee's most prolific three point shooter is back in town,
All American Chris Lofton. Fresh off a league championship
with his professional team in France, the former Vol great is hosting his 4th annual youth basketball camp here in town.
It's something he says really enjoyed doing as a kid, "It was great, I couldn't wait to get there, when it ended I was mad I didn't want to leave so just trying to give kids an opportunity to learn some fundamentals of basketball and stuff they can use and just try to tell how important school work is , to be nice to people and help people out and just being nice, that's what it's all about you know, so much hate going on in this world just love, we need to have more love everywhere."
Lofton teaches the basketball players various skills. On Tuesday he brought in high-profile national trainer, Ted Butler, who helps train LeBron James' children, to work with the campers.
The camp is July 16th thru the 18th at St. Joseph's Middle School here in Knoxville.
