Pinspiration: Crayon melted pumpkins

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- Crayon melted pumpkin decorations -- Huh?

Yes, we thought the same thing when we saw this one on Pinterest, but also thought it looked easy enough to try.

Here's what you need:

White pumpkin (you can find them at most Food City stores)
2- 24 pack of Crayola Crayons (we found these melted the best)
A hair dryer or heat gun
Tacky glue

First you want to make sure you get the wrappers off the crayons. The best way to do this is fill a bowl with hot soapy water and let them soak for about 5 minutes.

Then place the crayons around the pumpkin with the glue and use the hair dryer on low to melt the crayons.

Make sure you have newspaper down to help with the clean up efforts.

Have fun with it and make it your own!
