Sophomore center Wayne Chism has been diagnosed with a concussion that was caused by a blow to the head during practice Tuesday afternoon at Pratt Pavilion.
After being transported to UT Medical Center, Chism underwent a series of tests that proved to be negative.
Late Tuesday night he was released to the care of the Tennessee athletics medical staff where he is being evaluated on a day-to-day basis. At this time, it is too early to determine when he might return to full activity.
