Vols Often Explosive In One Half, Flat In The Other

KNOXVILLE (AP) -- Tennessee offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe says LSU feasts off lack of execution.

The two teams play Saturday in the SEC title game in Atlanta.

Cutcliffe says the Volunteers will need to play well in all four quarters.

In SEC games this season, Tennessee has outscored opponents 149-93 in the first halves.

The second half is a different story. The Vols' SEC opponents have outscored them 134-70 in the latter half.

Tennessee is 9-3 overall and 6-2 in the league. LSU is 10-2 and 6-2.
