Three more funerals to be held today for Nebraska shooting victims

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Funerals for three more victims in last week's Omaha, Nebraska, mall shootings will take place today. Five victims were remembered in services yesterday.

Hundreds of mourners showed up for the funeral of Von Maur department store employee Diane Trent. A co-worker who hid in a back room at the store during the shooting rampage says she came to the service because it was "time to stop running away from it."

Eight people died when 19-year-old Robert Hawkins opened fire in the store with an assault rifle before killing himself.

The mall reopened over the weekend, but Von Maur remains closed.

In a statement, the shooters' family says it prays the "community can be healed" in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Two people are still hospitalized from the attack. One victim is in fair condition, another is listed in serious condition.
