Hamblen man charged with putting pubic hair in Morristown cop's food

Erik J. Ellis, 21, is charged with putting pubic hair into a police officer's food.

MORRISTOWN, Tenn (WVLT) A Talbott man's been charged with a felony count of food alteration for allegedly putting pubic hair on food ordered by a police officer.

Erik J. Ellis, 21 was working at Taco John's in Morristown when the incident happened.

According to the police report, Morristown Police Lt. Dan Cliff found hair in two of his tacos.

Upon question, Morristown Police say Ellis admitted that he placed the hair in the food.

Ellis was arrested and charged with the Class E Felony.
