Tennessee trooper fired after porn star traffic stop sex, sentenced

LEBANON, Tenn. (AP) -- A former Tennessee state trooper has received probation after he was accused of overlooking drugs and receiving a sexual favor from a motorist.

James "Randy" Moss's attorney told The Tennessean in Nashville that his client will not go to jail if he complies with a plea deal.

Moss resigned after the Patrol investigated when Justis Ellen Richert of Knoxville wrote explicitly about the Wilson County encounter on her blog and posted photos from it. Richert performs in adult films under the name Barbie Cummings.

Moss stopped Richert for speeding and found she had prescription pills illegally.

He was accused of throwing them away after Richert performed a sex act on him.
