President Bush to visit West Tennessee

LAFAYETTE, Tenn. (AP) -- Macon County is awaiting a visit by President Bush today.

He's scheduled to spend some three hours in Tennessee surveying tornado damage and meeting with local officials.

Fourteen people died in the county as a result of tornadoes Tuesday night.

In the aftermath of deadly tornadoes that killed 33 people, hard-hit Lafayette now has other worries.

Residents say they are concerned about looters, power shortages and neighbors who are still unaccounted for.

Sheriff's Detective Jeff Brewer said authorities received many calls about looters, but he didn't have details.
