Bank account set up to help pay for expenses of Blount Co. woman killed in house fire

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A woman killed in a Blount County house fire April 1 did not have insurance, and an account has been set up to help with her expenses, according to her sister.

Fire inspectors say the fire that killed Freda Carol McGaha, 46, was accidental.

A bank account has been set up to help with expenses for a woman killed in a fire in Blount County.

The Rockford resident died at the hospital after being pulled from the burning home on Tammy Circle. Firefighters says an extreme amount of piled up debris, boxes, and clothing made it tough to get to her.

The account is setup at GreenBank in Alcoa under the name Freda McGaha.
