PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Goats are living on the roof in Pigeon Forge and a new attraction is getting a lot of attention.

Drive down Wears Valley Road out of Pigeon Forge, and you'll probably be tempted stop or at least turn your head to see Goats on the Roof.

Hannah Simmons and her family stopped for the first time and spent hours, sending up food for the 7 hungry goats that live up there.

"I think it's really fun, it's really awesome place to take your family whenever you come here," said Simmons. "It's just different, just something you don't see every day."

The owner says the goats do have a way down, but most of the time they stay up there, getting the attention. Ross Ogle says the idea game from a restaurant that had grass on the roof, and a friend of the owners put a goat up there as a prank. But the prank turned into attention and big business for the restaurant.

"That's what gets their attention from the street, they see goats on the roof and come in to see what's all about," said Ogle. "They love goats and we do too."

Goats on the Roof has a shopping area, activities for the kids, food, and a place to set back and relax. The owner says he's working to see what to do next with the 15 acres he's not developed.
