Stolen Car Tied to NC Murder Suspect found in Knoxville

Knoxville (WVLT) - The stolen car, believed to have been used by a North Carolina man, accused of killing his wife has been found here in East Tennessee.

Authorities say John "Woody" Woodring shot and killed his wife, bonnie, at a shelter in Sylva, North Carolina more than a week ago.

The blue Honda Civic, authorities say Woodring got away in, was found parked behind the Greyhound Bus station on Magnolia Avenue Tuesday morning.

Police say the car had been there for several days, and will now be returned to North Carolina so investigators can process it.
