Clarksville, Tenn. (AP) -- A fugitive charged in the murder of two people in Detroit was captured in Clarksville.
Morris Alex Mills was arrested Wednesday morning after police got a tip from an informant about where he was living.
The 28-year-old man is charged with murder and assault with intent to murder stemming from a 2004 incident in which four people were shot, two fatally.
Police say the fugitive had been living in Tennessee for about a month under an alias.
After speaking with negotiators, Mills surrendered without incident.
Police have not yet determined if Mills will be taken back to Detroit.
