Trial Date Set for Knoxville Attorney's Assualt Case

Knoxville (WVLT) - The case of a Knoxville attorney accused of arguing with a fast food restaurant manager will be going to trial January 22nd, but an outside prosecutor and judge will be handling the case.

Herb Moncier's attorney appeared in court for his bond arraignment Wednesday morning.

All Knox County judges and the Knox County District Attorney's office have recused themselves from the case.

Officials say Moncier argued with a McDonald's manager at the Cumberland Avenue location on November 13th.
