Interstate Disciples for Christ

(WVLT) - Truckers from around the country made a stop at the Angelic Ministries Center in Knoxville today to help the homeless for Christmas. The group, "Interstate Disciples for Christ" showed up with lots of winter coats, gloves, sweaters, blankets and bookbags filled with food. Angelic Ministries gave away about $2,000 worth of food alone. "Many of them, this will be probably all of what they get for Christmas," said Betsy Stowers Frazier, the founder of Angelic Ministries. They also help put needy families back on their feet with counseling and job training. If you'd like to donate to their ministry, call 523-8884.
