Tenn. Man Arrested In Child Sex Offense In Cambodia

Phnom Penh, Cambodia (AP) -- A Tennessee man is accused of sex crimes in Cambodia with girls ages 11 and 12.

Authorities there say 59-year-old Roger Dale Green was with the two girls when police raided his hotel room in Phnom Penh. Authorities did not say where in Tennessee Green is from.

Green is charged with debauchery, which covers child sex abuse.

Green was arrested yesterday and denied the allegations.

Lax law enforcement and poverty have made Cambodia a destination for foreigners seeking sex with minors. But police have recently stepped up their efforts to fight the crime.
