"Persons of Interest" named in Knoxville Double Murder

Knoxville (WVLT) - Authorities say there are two "persons of interest" in connection with the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, a couple reported missing over the weekend. Their bodies have been found since then.

Police are enlisting the help of several agencies in surrounding counties and they need your help, too.

Take a close look at these pictures of 25-year-old, Lemarcius Davidson, and his brother 24-year-old Letalvus Cobbins.

Davidson is described as about 6 foot 4 inches, 195 pounds.

Cobbins is about 6 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds, he has no record in Knox County.

According to court documents, Davidson has an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a "driving with a suspended license" charge.

His last known address was 2316 Chipman Street. That's the home where police found Christian's body.

Investigators say they believe the two might have information that's critical to solving the case.

"We are anxious to talk to them. We believe there are people in the area that might have information on their whereabouts. We would certainly encourage them to come forward and provide us that information so we can talk to those individuals and clear up this investigation," says Darrell DeBusk from the KPD.

Police say both victims died from foul play, but they aren't releasing a cause of death.
