Another Vacant House Fire in North Knoxville Raising Suspicion

North Knoxville (WVLT) - Firefighters are investigating another fire in North Knoxville at a vacant house.

The fire started at about 3:30am at a home on the corner of Oak Hill and Elm Street in North Knoxville.

Crews were able to put out the fire in about an hour.

The house was vacant and there were no injuries.

Darrell Whitaker with the Knoxville Fire Department says this fire is suspicious because there is no power going to the home.

It's also the fourth fire in the area in the past month, including one just yesterday morning, which they also consider very suspicious.
