Bush plans Nashville visit on Thursday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- President Bush plans to travel to Nashville on Thursday to discuss federal budget issues.

Congressman Jim Cooper of Nashville made the announcement Monday.

Bush's last visit to Tennessee was to Chattanooga in February to promote his health care plan. He last visited Nashville in August for a fund-raiser for Bob Corker's successful Senate campaign.
