SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier County School Board voted on Monday night to change the districts drug policy.

The change was on the agenda for Monday night's school board meeting and is a policy change on how the district will drug test employees.

According to district spokesperson, Debra Cline, it is revising the existing policy for random drug tests.

"The revised policy simply provides a mechanism for random drug testing for anyone who drives a county vehicle and/or heavy machinery," said Cline.

The board unanimously approved the change in policy.
