JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Carson-Newman University honor society earned its 18th straight national award and will be recognized at a national convention in Washington D.C. in April.
CNU's chapter of Alpha Chi national honor society was recognized as a Star Chapter something less than one fifth of the nation's Alpha Chi chapters are able to achieve.
It is the 18th straight year Carson-Newman has earned the Star Chapter Award.
The recognition honors local, national, and administrative efforts of each chapter.
Alpha Chi’s purpose is to promote academic excellence among college and university students.
