Claiborne County puppy looking for "fur"-ever home

CLAIBORNE CO., Tenn. (WVLT)-- In April we told you about a group of kid who were raising money to help a puppy they found with a broken leg. Now after months of surgeries, donations and therapy; the once helpless pup has a new "leash" on life.

It only took a few weeks but the entire East Tennessee community came together to raise over $3,000 to fix TNT's broken leg. However, after seeing the story in the news a local vet stepped up to do the surgery for free.

Dr. Mitch Rosenzweig from the Animal Emergency Specialty Center volunteered his time and talents to start TNT on the road to recovery.

Now months later, TNT is ready to be adopted to a family who will be patient and understanding when it comes to all her needs.

While her leg is fixed, she needs to learn everything that comes with being a new puppy. That's why the Claiborne Humane Society is reaching out to the community to find TNT's perfect match.
