KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Jeffrey Keith was arraigned on charges of sexual exploitation of a minor for having more than 100 pornographic images of a child, as well as three violations of the sex offender registry law and five counts of perjury.

Deputies arrested Keith last March, after they learned he was teaching gymnastics out of the basement of his home and in the Powell High School cafeteria.

Keith will stand trial for the sexual exploitation charge on August 26. A trial date for the other charges hasn't been set yet.

in 1998, A Rhea County court convicted Keith of aggravated sexual battery of a 10-year-old, making him a violent sex offender.
