Hawkins Co. Sheriff rounds up last of murder suspects

ROGERSVILLE (WVLT) - Hawkins County Sheriff Ronnie Lawson has confirmed Lisa Harr, wanted for involvement with a murder, has turned herself in.

Harr is among two other suspects involved with the case.

Harr is charged with tampering with evidence and intent to interfere with an arrest in the murder of Stanley Valley resident Christopher Varelli in March of 2012. The two were once married.

Lawson said Harr turned herself in around 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Investigators named Harr and two others, Randy Harr and James Hall, as suspects Wednesday.

Harr's husband, Randy Harr, 43, was found in Florida on Thursday, after being named to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Top Ten List. He faces charges of first degree murder, aggravated burglary and arson.

Also charged was James Hall, 52, who was already in the Sullivan County jail at the time he was named as a suspect. He faces a charge of intent to interfere with an arrest.

Authorities found Varelli dead in the bathroom of his home with multiple gunshot wounds, with Randy Harr as the suspected shooter.
