KNOXVILLE, Tenn. Harriman (Images of America) is a book about the city featuring historic photographs dating from the 1890s until the present. The city has a very interesting history, having been founded as a temperance town by mostly northern industrialists, explaining the city's Victorian architecture.

The book has photos of Harriman being built and of many key events, including World War I and II, the flood of 1929, the 50th and 75th anniversaries, and more.

You can pick up the book in Harriman at Walgreens, Rocky Top General Store, and Adkisson Flowers and Gifts. You can also find it in Knoxville at Costco and Barnes & Noble.

A portion of book sales will be donated to Harriman Heritage Museum.
