UPDATE: Police: 3 shot in Bell Co., Ky.., alleged gunman found dead in cemetery

Kentucky State Police say, three people have been shot by Raymond Curtis Smith of Flat Lick, Kentucky.

It happened at a residence on Laurel Lakes Road just outside of Pineville.

Troopers got to the scene and found a father, son and daughter.

Among the dead were Michael Smith, 50 and Mychael Dustin Smith, 21. Robin Smith, 21, had also suffered a gunshot wound and was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Hospital.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Michael Smith, 50, had left the residence and was later found on Hammons Fork Cemetery with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to the Knox County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Michael Smith and Mychael Dustin Smith have been sent to State Medical Examiner’s office in Frankfort for an autopsy.

The case is still under investigation by KSP Detective Mark Mefford.

WKYT-Police say three people have been shot in Bell County, and the alleged gunman killed himself at a Knox County cemetery.

Kentucky State Police tell Local8News' sister station WKYT that the three were found shot near Highway 119, just outside of Pineville. Two people at that scene have died, and at least one person is being flown to a hospital.

They were also told the gunman then went to a Knox County cemetery, where his dad is buried, and shot himself. He died at the hospital.
