Ripley's looking to hire 100 people for Sevier County attractions


GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Ripley’s Entertainment is hosting a job fair to hire over 100 positions at their eight Sevier County attractions.

“This is a great opportunity to work at one of the most innovative and exciting tourist attractions in the world. We have a wide variety of jobs ranging from mermaids at Ripley’s Aquarium to cashiers and maintenance at our other Ripley attractions,” said Ryan DeSear, general manager of Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies.

The job fair will be Friday from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the lower plaza of Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg.

The jobs include: Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum, Ripley’s Davy Crockett Mini-Golf, Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze & Candy Factory, Ripley’s Moving Theater, Ripley’s Old McDonald’s Farm Mini-Golf, and Guinness World Records Museum.

Some of the jobs available include ticket sales, housekeeping, actors, divers, wax hands artist, kitchen positions, maintenance techs, photo port attendants, mascots, and mermaids.
