SNAP benefits take a cut

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- On November first the federal government's short-term inflation of SNAP will end, cutting the monthly amount for households across the nation receiving food stamps.

For a family of four receiving maximum benefits, they will see about 30 dollars less. This marks the final phase-out administered by the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
