Shiloh Riders toy run benefs East Tennessee kids

KNOXVILLE, Tenn The Shiloh Riders Association is a motorcycle organization that raises money and Toys for families in need, so that their children have new toys and clothing under the Christmas tree each year.

Sunday October 27, the 22nd annual East Tennessee toy run starts at Smokies Stadium in Kodak at 9 am. The ride leaves the stadium at 1:00 and rides to Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson in Maryville.

There will be food, music, and drawings for hundreds of prizes that include cruises, vacation packages, and weekend get away's.

The organization distributes, clothing, and toys to children during the Christmas season, and school supplies to area high schools in August.

We normally provide for 1,200 to 1,500 kids in the communities of East Tennessee

The Shiloh riders organization is made up of all volunteers. There are no paid employees

Funding comes from various sources, grants, donations and fundraising. The East Tennessee toy run is the group's largest event and is crucial to their endeavors

Last year the event was rained out and this greatly effected what they were able to provide so the group is hoping for an epic turn out this year.
