Six arrested, two meth labs shut down in Morgan County

MORGAN CO., Tenn. (WVLT) -- Narcotics Officers took six people into custody and shut down two meth labs Friday in Morgan County.

According to a release from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, after receiving a tip about a possible meth lab, Morgan County Narcotics Officers went to a house on Northrup Rd and received permission to search the house.

During the search, officers say they found a meth lab with finished product.

A suspect fled on foot, and search dogs found the suspect hiding in a trailer nearby.

Inside that trailer, Narcotics Officers reported finding another meth lab.

Six people in all were arrested.

While attempting to apprehend the suspect that fled, one officer dislocated his should and was taken to Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge for treatment.
