What is The Hope Center?

The Hope Center was established in 1996 by Dr. Jeannie Gillian to address the unmet needs of individuals affected by HIV in Knox County and 20 surrounding counties. Due to gaps in care for this population, Hope Center began developing and implementing consistent, practical, and supportive care programs at no charge to patients and the families affected by HIV and other serious illnesses.

The Hope Center strives to provide a context for hope through advocating, educating and addressing the individual needs of those affected by HIV-AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses.
