The Dogwood Arts Market Square Art Fair ready to take over downtown

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. The Dogwood Arts Market Square Art Fair is free to the public, and takes off this weekend. This is the 54th year that DAF celebrates the arts, culture and natural beauty of East Tennessee.

What: Dogwood Arts Market Square Art Fair
Where: Market Square and Krutch Park
When: Friday, 4/25-Sunday, 4/27
Hours: Friday, 11:00 am-9:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am-9:00 pm, and Sunday, 11:00 am-5:00 pm

Over 60 artists will show and sell high quality art such as jewelry, pottery, Raku, glass, wood, and more. Arts in Action will have several artists demonstrating their crafts too. Art is the focus of the weekend.

There will also be 3 stages with continuous music and shows. Stages are at Market Square, Union Street and Children's Stage. Children of all ages will be instructed on how to make crafts and they can take it with them.

For the aspiring chefs there will be several food demonstrations provided by local restaurants and caterers. Wine tastings and beer will be available, and a variety of food vendors will be selling barbeque, hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cakes, cotton candy and more.
