Knoxville Restaurant Week kicks off

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- Knoxville Restaurant Week is from Sunday February 24th to Friday March 1st. It's a special week of meals to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.

Each restaurant will offer three-course meals at $25 or $35 fixed prices with $5 of each fixed price dinner going to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.

The $5.00 donation equals 15 meals for people in over 18 counties in the area.

Last year, Restaurant Week brought in over $35,000 for Second Harvest and this year they hope to double that donation.
