Tickets still available for Antiques Roadshow

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- People in East Tennessee have a chance to find out if their family heirlooms are junk or treasure when PBS' popular series Antiques Roadshow rolls into Knoxville later this month. The series will tape episodes for its 18th season at the Knoxville Convention Center on Saturday, July 13.

Those episodes will air during the season, which starts next January. The top-rated show attracts about 10 million viewers each week.

This may be the only time the show makes a stop in East Tennessee, so it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get items appraised. Each ticket holder can bring two items with them.

Before the taping, there will also be a VIP reception on Thursday, July 11, at the McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture on the UT Campus. The reception is open to supporters of East Tennessee PBS and Antiques Roadshow. Tickets are $125 per person or $225 per couple.
