Elizabeth Hall, MS, RDN, LDN
Corporate / Retail Registered Dietitian for K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. (Food City)

Elizabeth graduated from Harding University with a BS in dietetics and a minor in psychology and completed her dietetic internship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. She received her MS in Clinical Nutrition from East TN State University, in Johnson City, TN, where she currently resides with her husband, Ben, and dog, Blue. Elizabeth worked as a behavioral health clinical dietitian and food service manager in Little Rock, AR, before shifting career paths in 2015 to become the Corporate / Retail Registered Dietitian for K-VA-T Food Stores Inc., parent company to Food City supermarkets. Elizabeth works with the Healthy Initiatives team as well as marketing and local media as a health and nutrition resource to educate and implement programs through community partnerships and store promotions.
She completed her master’s thesis research on supermarket tours as well, which provided additional insight into the benefits of in-store nutrition education. Outside of her day job, Elizabeth serves on the Tri-Cities Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Board of Directors as marketing chair and media spokesperson. She also serves as sponsorship chair for the Tennessee Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Elizabeth is passionate about education, and sits on several Advisory Boards for East TN State University including the Clinical and Rehabilitative Sciences Department and the ETSU Dietetic Internship. She also precepts for local dietetic internship programs. Elizabeth is thrilled that her role with Food City stimulates positive health changes in the familiar environment of a grocery store where most people make their decisions about food. Her nutrition philosophy focuses on valuing all food groups for the nourishment they provide, enjoying all foods in moderation and with mindfulness, and promoting a healthy and balanced relationship with food.
