TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- Tennessee suffered tough losses, heard calls for its coach to be fired, narrowly lost the conference championship and discovered two assistant coaches would leave the program. Sounds miserable, right?

But coach Phillip Fulmer says looking back, it's been fun. However he acknowledges there were some challenges that were not pleasant, but the team fought through those.

The No. 16 Vols ended with a 21-17 win over No. 18 Wisconsin in the Outback Bowl to achieve the 10-win season they'd been searching for over the last two seasons.

And for those who can't get enough of Tennessee football, the 2008 season opener is Aug. 30 against UAB.
