District tournament round-up, Monday February, 18th

Knoxville--Tenn (WVLT-TV), The Bearden Lady Bulldogs met Farragut for the District 4-AAA champion ship Monday night at Heritage High School. Farragut led 35-18 at the half and held off their rivals 59-53 for the title.
After the game forward Rebecca Jameson told Local8 Sports, "It's nice because last year we lost the same game to Bearden and so it's kind of nice to finally be the champions." Coach Jason Mayfield added, "they've been preparing for this since they lost this time last year at Region championship, so they prepared themselves, tonight I didn't have to say a whole lot, they were fired up, ready to play."
