Fulton prepares for showdown with Alcoa

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - It's a matchup of two 7-1 teams that are both on a six game winning streak when Fulton hosts Alcoa on Friday.

The players are looking forward to the game. Falcon LB/FB Trey Fletcher says, "I couldn't wait. As soon as I woke up Saturday morning after playing Carter I said 'I can't wait til Friday. I can't wait til Friday.' And that's just all of us out here. We just can't wait."

This game is great preparation for the playoffs for both teams. Penny Smith, quarterback for Fulton says "It's a big game for us because it's a measuring stick. We haven't had a test in a long time." Head Coach Rob Black agrees "It's a great test for us. It kind of lets you know late in the year where you're at and some of the things that you've got to get fixed for playoff time."
