Smokies tickets go on sale

KODAK, Tenn. (SUBMITTED) – The Tennessee Smokies, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, today announced that single-game tickets for the 2012 season will be going on sale next Wednesday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. Fans will be able to purchase tickets via the Smokies Web site (, over-the-phone or in-person at the Smokies Park ticket office starting Wednesday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m.

2012 seat pricing will remain the same as in seasons past. Adult field-level and bleacher-level seats will be $10 and $8, respectively. Field-level and bleacher-level seating for children (12-and-under) and seniors (55+) will be $9 and $7, respectively. Fans will again be able to take advantage of an advanced-sale discount of $1, if they order tickets at least four hours in advance of the game.

Season tickets, mini-plans and group packages are currently available for the 2012 season and can be purchased by contacting the Smokies front office at (865) 286-2300.

Tickets for the 2012 Southern League All-Star Game on June 19 at Smokies Park will not be available at this time.

The Smokies will be rolling out 70 nights of great entertainment as part of its “All-Star Fun” campaign in 2012. Opening Night at Smokies Park will put the Smokies against the Jackson Generals on Tuesday, April 10, at 7:15 p.m.
