Vote former vols to the 2012 NFL Pro Bowl


KNOXVILLE - UT fans, you can help make a difference by voting for former Vols who are on the ballot for the NFL Pro Bowl. Among the players on the ballot are Arian Foster, Jason Witten, Robert Meachem and Scott Wells.

Here’s a look at the Vols on the ballot:

Running Back
Arian Foster has had a tremendous season with the playoff-bound Houston Texans, scoring 10 touchdowns and gaining 957 yards.

Wide Receiver
Robert Meachem has 33 catches for 493 yards for 14.9 yards per catch with the New Orleans Saints. He has scored five touchdowns.

Denarius Moore is having a standout rookie season with the Raiders. He has 24 catches for 410 yards (17.1 per catch) along with five TDs.

Tight End
Jason Witten is second among all tight ends with 64 catches for 772 yards (12.1 per catch) and also five touchdowns with the Cowboys.

Ramon Foster has been a starter in 11 games with the Steelers at right guard.

Anthony Herrera has started and played nine games with the Minnesota Vikings.

Scott Wells has been the starter all year for the 13-0 defending Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers.

Chad Clifton, another starter for the undefeated Packers who protects quarterback and likely league MVP Aaron Rodgers.

Defensive End
Robert Ayers of the Denver Broncos has 33 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Shaun Ellis has 10 tackles with the New England Patriots in his first season with the team.

Turk McBride is on the ballot from the New Orleans Saints despite an injury-plagued season as he has four tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.

Defensive Tackle
Aubrayo Franklin has 16 tackles with the Saints.

Albert Haynesworth has 12 tackles in just five games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after starting the year with the Patriots.

Dan Williams of the Cardinals, made 20 tackles before a season-ending broken arm injury.

Inside Linebacker
Kevin Burnett has 77 tackles, 2.5 Sacks and an interception with the Miami Dolphins.

Jerod Mayo has made 68 tackles along with two interceptions -- in each of the last two games -- with the Patriots.

Outside Linebacker
Parys Haralson has 25 tackles, two sacks and three forced fumbles with the San Francisco 49ers.

Jabari Greer has 55 tackles and an interception with the Saints.

Both Colquitt brothers, Britton and Dustin, are on the ballot.

Britton Colquitt has 82 punts for a 47.7 average with 26 punts inside the 20-yard line with the Denver Broncos.

Dustin Colquitt has 76 punts for a 45.6 average with 22 inside the 20-yard line with the Kansas City Chiefs.
